Last year, Playboy announced that it was moving away from nude photographs all together in exchange for in-depth journalism.

Initially, the choice was met with criticism and skepticism, but so far, the publication has enhanced its pages with actual journalism, including a piece on aspiring news anchor Noor Tagouri.

The photos taken for the feature showed her fully covered with a hijab, a headscarf worn by Muslim women as an outward expression of their faith.

Tagouri is Muslim American and opened up to the magazine about her experiences wearing the hijab, her career goals and the current political climate towards the Muslim community. Since the feature came out, Tagouri has been hit with criticism and praise.
